Maybe you can shed some light?

The first is the one that Karen mentioned: if I'm making an unplanned trip - or if I come across something that is on an unadvertised sale - I'm not sure how to figure out if I have a coupon for it (or how to find it).

The second is that then I'm not sure what to do with non-insert coupons (printables, coupons from direct mail, etc.). What do you do with these?

And how many pages is the coupon database usually, once you print it out? Thanks for reading my blog and comment...

Hi Karen... Thanks for reading my blog and commenting!

There are a few snags with this plan. For example, I don't have the coupons I need when I run into the store to quickly pick up something unplanned.

However, I've been trying to make sure as much of my shopping as possible is planned, and therefore I always have the necessary coupons. This helps me to stay within my budget.

Also, the coupon database prevents me from having to search through all the inserts. I actually print out the database and check off coupons as I clip them. That way, I can look through the list and see if I even have a particular coupon. No more searching through piles of little slips of paper.

Anyway, I wish there was a perfect system. Maybe we can put our heads together and come up with one!!

Hi there!
